Ethics in Public Life
Nowhere is the ethical crisis more obvious than in business. The financial services sector has been accused of being self-serving and greedy. And while companies are failing or barely surviving, executives are receiving lavish perks and bonuses. Is the current ethical crisis in business an inevitable result of an emphasis on greed peculiar to capitalism, or is it possible to build an ethical centre for business that will keep the market economy functioning properly? Ultimately, what is the purpose of business, simply to make money or is there something more it is supposed to be contributing to society?
‘Ethics in Public Life’ is the theme of this final part in the provoking ‘Doing the Right Thing’ DVD series from the Colson Centre for Christian Worldview.

Please join us for a stimulating discussion.
