Breakfasts move online
CBL’s monthly breakfasts will continue on their normal schedule using Zoom. You will receive the regular email invitation in the normal way and then be sent details of how to join the Zoom meeting securely. The regular format of fellowship, guest speakers and ‘table’ discussions (via Zoom breakout rooms) will continue. We hope that not only will you be able to join us but you may take this opportunity to invite colleagues and friends to our ‘virtual’ breakfasts.
Coffee Time Chat
We recognise that working from home places its own challenges on us and that some may value the opportunity to meet more informally with other Christian business leaders. Therefore, we will be continuing our regular ‘coffee time chat’ sessions on Zoom. The sessions will be held on:
- Tuesdays from 3:00pm – 4:00pm
- Thursdays from 10:30am – 11:30am
Please click the link below to register and we’ll send you details of how to connect:
Support from the CBL membership
Across the CBL network, we have expertise in a wide range of topics and we would be delighted to provide assistance where needed. Topics being considered include:
- HR – supporting staff and managing furlough
- Taking care of clients
- Adapting to the “new normal” after the crisis
- Communications – effective communication during a crisis
Please let us know which topics would be of most interest to you, or if you have a specific need or would be willing to share your expertise.
The current situation will be financially challenging for some. If you are currently paying your monthly CBL subscription by standing order or direct debit and you would like to temporarily suspend your subscription please let us know. Alternatively, we would ask those of you who currently attend CBL breakfasts on a ‘pay as you go’ basis to consider converting to a regular monthly subscription which would be more cost effective way of paying for your breakfast and accessing the full range of support that is on offer.
To contact us about any of the above, please email email@example.com.
