Quiz to prove that you're human

Welcome to the Oxford Group, we meet on the second Thursday of each month and we enjoy catching up with each other with a coffee or tea and over breakfast and either listening to a knowledgeable speaker or studying a thought provoking resource series. We conclude with prayers.

Meeting at 7:30am until 09:00am means the meeting does not impact too much on the working day, on the contrary we usually feel encouraged and uplifted after each meeting and at £15 we value the regular input.

As the coordinator of this group, I would personally like to invite you to sign up below to receive our monthly invitation to this group.

    Kind regards

    Next Meeting

    Thursday, 8th February 2024

Topic: Neil Passingham, 'PPP: Phrophecy, People and Possibilities (in a world of acronyms)'

The next CBL Oxford breakfast will be held on Thursday, 8th February 2024 from 7:30am to 9:00am at our venue, Courtyard by Marriott, Milton, Abingdon OX14 4FP.

Join us in welcoming Neil Passingham as he shares with us,

‘PPP: Prophecy, People and Possibilities (in a world of acronyms)’

Neil will share how he has seen (with hindsight mainly) how God has prepared the way for him (as an ‘agent’) through the last 10 years – in good and troubled times. Despite being a lifelong technophile, he has learnt the value of people, relationships and ethics in business. Using passages from Acts 15-16, he will explain how we can all learn from how God dealt with the early church – even largely secular business context.

Neil’s career in IT and cybersecurity has covered developing and protecting systems/data across the globe. He has a passion for innovation and at HP he led new service development and advised on acquisitions. In 2014, he stepped out of the corporate world becoming an independent trainer/consultant and, in 2016, co-founded a successful international IT/cyber services business and is now chairman of the Gardpass Consortium.

On a personal level, Neil is an active trustee of a charity in Kenya aiming to enable HIV orphans and their communities to thrive. He has led several local initiatives e.g. Wallingford Fairtrade Town campaign, ‘Drop the Debt’, CAP/Fareshare. He is a keen singer, an amateur linguist and a keen traveller.
